Stories & Impact
Stories & Impact
Humans are wired for narrative — for connection.
But storytelling that builds real trust and engagement doesn't happen by accident.
It requires intention, strategy, and practices that center the communities you're trying to reach.
Stories live at the intersection of art and science.
They need emotional truth and narrative craft, yes — but also strategic grounding in who your audiences are and what they actually need.
My work starts with listening: to your goals, to the communities you're trying to reach, and to the gap between the stories you're telling and the stories that need to be told.
At the center of my work is an ethical commitment. No greater power exists than the power to shape someone else's story. Used carelessly, it can flatten people into symbols or commodities. Used with care, dignity and empathy, it can illuminate complexity, challenge bias and create space for change.
I practice ethical storytelling that prioritizes humanity, context and consent. That means treating people as full, complex human beings rather than backdrops for institutional success.
